Classes: Laser - Sunfish - Snipe - FlyingScot - Multihull - Open Portsmouth (& more if warranted)

Five boats constitute a class. All others will use the Portsmouth rating system. Classes intending to race should contact the Regatta Chairman by October 9th to ensure that trophies are available on race day.
A class start will be given for fleets of 5 or more boats. Two or more classes may be combined for a start. If a fleet has less than 5 boats, those boats will start in a Portsmouth fleet. All skippers must complete an entry form and turn it in with registration.

Races: We intend to race at least 5-6 races over 2 days.  Multi’s will be given a course that sends them out of the way of the smaller boats.  The courses may be Windward/Leeward; Triangle Windward/Leeward or any combination to be determined by the RC and announced at the Skippers meeting.

Scoring:  The scoring shall be Low Point System as defined in Appendix A of the RRS 2005-2009.

Sailing Instructions:  Sailing Instructions will be handed out upon completion of the registration form, and a copy will be posted on the Notice Board.

Awards:  Trophies awarded through third place in each class. Fleets intending to race as a class should notify the Regatta Chairman by Friday, October 8th, to ensure trophy presentation.  (See Contacts.)

Entry fees:  $40 (single-handed), include 1 dinner, or $45 (double-handed), includes 2 dinners.

Launching:  Ballard Park has adequate facilities to accommodate all trailered dinghy needs.
