Cirripedia Cup Challenge
Rules: The Race shall be governed by the RRS 2005-2009.
PHRF/Cruiser
Classes:
Lindenberg 28, Melges 24, Catalina 22, PHRF Spinnaker,
PHRF non-Spinnaker, 4 boats constitutes a class. All boats racing in
PHRF shall have an ECSA PHRF rating. If a boat does not have an ECSA
PHRF rating it will be assigned one by the Race Committee. All
skippers must complete an entry form and turn it in with registration.
Races:
We intend to race one
longer race on Saturday and 2-3 Shorter races on Sunday. For the
shorter races, average race length will be 2-3 miles.
The courses may be Windward/Leeward; Triangle Windward/Leeward or any
combination to be determined by the RC and announced at the Skippers
meeting.
Scoring:
The scoring shall be Low Point System as defined in Appendix A of the
RRS 2005-2009.
Sailing
Instructions:
Sailing Instructions will be handed out upon completion of the
registration form, and a copy will be posted on the Notice Board.
Awards:
Trophies will be awarded through third
place in each class. Fleets intending to race as a class should notify
the MYC Fleet Captain by Friday, October 15 to ensure trophy
presentation. (See Contacts.)
Entry fees: $50, includes one dinner
MYC Parking: Parking in the lower driveway inside the gate is
reserved for boat trailers of specified classes only. Additional
Parking can be found on the lot across from the Club.
